My favorite musician and songwriter Kelley Stoltz (who happens to be a good friend) released his first record for Sub Pop on Tuesday.
It's just a five song EP named The Sun Comes Through, priced nicely at about 6 bucks. Think of it as an appetizer for his full length Sub Pop LP, which will come out in February next year. That record is absolutely fantastic (all songs written and performed by Stoltz as another bedroom masterpiece). I wish the full length were out now, since I've been listening to an early version at an insanely loud volume at home for the last week and I'd love to talk about it and share an mp3.
But here's a slightly truncated mp3 of the EP's title song. The song will be on both the EP and the album.
Download the song and stick it on whatever device you like -- crippled iPod, cranky old PIII Windows box or XBox, and throw on some good headphones to catch all the Stoltzy audio fun.
